Beautiful agave, small, rounded, symmetrical  leaves numerous, dark green with purple tint and white fibrous hairs at the edges When plants mature they will initiate flowers which are formed in pairs on an unbranched spike that rises 24 to 30 m

Ornamental. Landscape. hardy agave can handle the tough desert conditions like heat and drought like a champ. The mature rosettes bear a narrow 2.5 to 3.5 m flower spike. Attracts nectar eating birds and insects. The fiber is of strong quality and is prepared by simply scraping the leaves in the raw green state.
