Dioecious  cycad, 25 m tall, 35-40 cm in diameter leaves pinnate 12 m long, blue-grey, with a straight, blue rachis, slightly twisted on some leaves, arranged in a rounded, arching crown on top of the stem male cone 2-5 narrowly ovoid, bluish green 40 cm long, 50 cm broad, female 1-3 ovoid, light blue-green, 40 cm long, 18-20 cm wide, seeds ovoid orange-red
