Semi-evergreen tree grows 6-12 m tall, 80-100 cm in diameter leaves compounded, leaflets 15 cm ovate shaped flower creamy bisexual fruit pod around 7-8 cm, contains 2 to 3 seeds

Ornamental. medicinal. shade tree. yields tannins, resin and food . The wood is light to moderately heavy, soft to moderately hard, compact, strong, durable and resistant to the attacks of termites and insects.
