Evergreen tree grows  up to 12-24 m tall, 1-2 m in diameter leaves simple, glabrous, coriaceous, elliptic -obovate , base acute, apex obtuse  or emarginate flower white fruit berry, ellipsoid, 15 x 8 mm, reddish-yellow, seeds usually one
