Ornamental plant. Fruit edible sweet, malty flavor, source of energy, rich in glucose and calories, boot immunity, promote gut health. Natural gum from the bark is used to make chewing gum.Compounds extracted from the leaves showed anti-diabetic, antioxidant and cholesterol.
