Deciduous tree up to 30 m tall trunk grey and cylindrical, up to 75 cm in diameter  leaves lobed in 3-7 points 10-20 cm in diameter, whitish underneath flowers pink without petals fruit hairy boat shaped follicle

Ph: 61-65 is ideal,  but it will also tolerate neutral or slightly alkaline soil

Soil: tolerate clay and loam
