Evergreen shrub or small tree, growing 4-6 m tall leaves simple, leathery dark green elliptic to obovate 8-20 cm long and 4-8 cm wide flowers  white, small, fragrant fruit  toxic , drupe, red, ellipsoid with pointed apex, 3-6 cm long, 2-4 cm in diameter
