Shrub or small tree grows up to 10 m as single-stemmed tree in higher rainfall areas, but is a 2 to 3 meter high shrub in dry situations or on very shallow soils leaves phyllodes, needle-like 3-11 cm long flowers yellow form spikes 15-2 cm long pods flat 2-5 cm long
