Small shrub up to 06 m tall, with lemon-scented, palmate deeply dissected (fern-like) leaves and pink flowers

Soil: Prefers well-drained slightly damp soil that are not too rich in nutrients or organic matter Tolerates a wide range of pH, most preferring slightly acidic soil

It is used in traditional healing of cold sores, sore throats, infections, and help relieve an earache. It is  a popular ingredient  in insect repellents so it is known as ‘mosquito plant’ for keeping mosquito away.  It may be toxic to animals and humans upon digestion so it is a plant to deter cats.
