Evergreen , straggling shrub grow 2-5 m high, often with climbing shrub leaves opposite, lanceolate, with dark green, slightly hairy, white to yellowish felt-like beneath flowers orange, fragrant 

ornamental plant. Hedges. its leaves are used in traditional remedies for respiratory issues like asthma, coughs, and bronchitis. Produces nectar that attracts butterflies. The leaves have been used as a soap substitute. A dye is obtained from the flowers and used for dyeing cloth.
