A bitter, lemony flavored perennial herb with silver-green foliage, yellow capitate inflorescence & woody stem

Air freshener, herbal teas, vinegars & salads in small quantity. 

Historically this plant has been used medicinally and due to its strong scent, was used as an air freshener, insect repellent, and moth repellent for wool clothing. Leaves retain their fragrance even after cutting and drying, making it suitable for use in potpourris and sachets to freshen air or clothing.

In traditional medicine, it is mainly used for menstrual disorders, liver and biliary tract diseases.
Antimicrobial , antioxidant, anticancer, and antiallergic properties and other biological activities of its essential oil were reported.
