Herbaceous  perennial leaves gray-green, strongly aromatic flowers lavender-blue

Ph: 60- 70 for best results will tolerate fairly acid soil to pH 56 and mild alkaline soils to pH 78

Soil: light (sandy) and medium (loamy) soils and prefers well-drained soil

leaves are used either fresh or dried  in Italian meat and chicken dishes, soup, pasta or potatoes as spice. Mix with perennials in borders or rock gardens. Excellent in herb or vegetable gardens.
