Stem arborescent to 1 -3 m tall, 20-30 cm in diameter, young leaves to 18 long, light green to dark-green leathery male cone ovoid, 16-22 cm long, female cones 20-37 cm long, light yellowish brown, densely reddish brown tomentose
Ornamrntal. All plant parts are considered highly toxic. However, the seeds were eaten by Aboriginal Australians after careful and extensive preparation to remove the toxins.
