Dioecious cycad, stem 35-4 m tall, 35-50 cm in diameter leaves pinnate, rigid 3-4 m long, 40 cm broad, leaflets depart from the rachis at an angle of 30°, are up to 20-25 cm long and about 20 mm wide male cone 40 cm long, 9-10 cm in diameter, female cones ovoid 35-40 cm long, seeds ellipsoid, orange red
